Description:
In the Career In STEM® Summer Scholarship Contest you will plan, create, and share a Personal Passion Project (PPP). A PPP can be anything – create a video game, organize an event, invent something using engineering, it’s your call! The goal of the PPP is to take a deep dive on something you are interested in to build your talents and change the world 😊 Here is a list of ideas.

Suggested PPP Timeline:

June: explore & plan (Research and choose a PPP topic – What have you always wanted to learn? Make? Solve? Do?)
July: create (Do your PPP!)
August: share (Decide and create a way to share your PPP.)

How to Submit:

Post your PPP at careerinstem.com/showcase AND email ashley@careerinstem.com by 11:59pm EST on August 16. Include your full name and name of your homeschool, school, GEAR UP or TRiO program. This contest is open to Explorer customers ONLY (if you are not a customer yet see info here).

Important Info:

You may submit up to two PPPs. Team PPPs are also allowed.
PPPs will be judged by Career In STEM® Owner Ashley Pereira. Public voting via the Showcase page will also be considered.
The best PPPs will show exceptional levels of creativity, caring, and commitment. I am looking for the biggest bang for my buck – how will an investment of $500 in your PPP change the world?
Winner(s) will be announced on August 23.
