Ciao, we’re about a month in, and it’s been a good experience learning and adapting to Italy’s business culture. Honestly, it has been interesting adjusting to the differences between the Italian and the US workplaces. My personal adaptation to the Italian workplace has been unique, as my supervisor is an American citizen and our company has a strong presence in the US.

Recently, I transitioned from collecting emails for my supervisor to focusing on HVAC industry research for Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar. My assignment was to make a 10-slide presentation and a two-page paper for each region. Participating in research for those specific regions will be beneficial for my professional development as I improve my skills and knowledge. Lately, I’ve been looking into Saudi Arabia’s 2030 vision, and it’s been interesting to see the country’s development. It’s exciting to, in some way, be a part of it. Nonetheless, I am beyond grateful and blessed to be working while studying abroad with GENUSA.
