A Year of Growing STEM Opportunities Across Ohio

Why STEM?
It’s a question we often hear, but the answer becomes clear when you see students solving real-world problems, educators collaborating across districts, and school leaders working together to create meaningful learning experiences that prepare young people for the future.
Over the last school year, the Ohio STEM Learning Network (OSLN) reached 880 schools and districts, 2,432 educators, and 367,675 students across 81 Ohio counties. While those numbers tell an important story, they only represent part of our impact.
Behind every number is a student discovering a new passion, a teacher trying an innovative instructional strategy, a school building stronger community partnerships, or a leadership team working to transform learning for all students.
This work is possible because of the collective efforts of educators, school leaders, students, families, community partners, industry representatives, higher education institutions, and the many organizations that make up Ohio’s STEM ecosystem. Every classroom project, design challenge, professional learning experience, and school improvement effort contributes to a larger vision: ensuring every Ohio student has access to high-quality STEM learning opportunities.
